AJN Report: According to the report by International News Safety Institute, Afghanistan, Iraq, Columbia, Mexico, Russia, Syria and Yemen are the most dangerous countries for journalists.
The journalists who died during the reporting, organizations are showing different numbers.
According to (INSI) 115 journalists were killed in 2016.
According to Canadian Journalists for Free Expression (CJFE) 127 journalists were killed in 2016.

According to International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) 100 journalists were killed in 2016.
Middle East was the deadliest region for journalists. Afghanistan and Syria are dangerous for
media professionals on account of war. Since 2011, more than 107 journalist killed only in Syria.
According to Reporters without Borders more than 74 journalists were killed deliberately in 2016. The youngest photojournalist got killed in Aleppo was 19 years old.
